Our Philosophy

thinkerNot everyone agrees, nor should they, but we each have an opinion.  We'd like to express our corporate philosophy so you can understand what motivates us day to day.  Every action we take is derived from this philosophy and while it may change as we learn and understand more, our direction is steady.

We are certain, in our own minds, that global warming is real.  We do not try to define the extent or necessarily the source of the problem but we do indeed acknowledge it.  Instead of pointing fingers or making accusations, we want to look at what we can do about it.

This is what brought Inovateus Solar into being: the desire to make a difference.  How can we each day improve the state of our environment?  We started by being in the solar business.  Solar is among the cleanest energy alternatives available with the lowest potential hazards. It has long term usage and an end of life that won't poison the land.  It is clean, definitely renewable and in just a few years operation, has already offset the energy used to make it.

tree-bulbWe continually endeavor to be green.  We use energy efficient lighting wherever possible.  We recycle corporately and individually.  The materials used in our offices come from renewable forests or are recycled.  For example, one of our office floors was once in a gymnasium, another is 200 year old floorboard reclaimed from a renovation project, our newest offices use recycled materials in the carpet.  All of printing is done using high levels of recycled content whenever possible.  We require our cleaning company to use environmentally friendly products - and we check to make certain they do so.  Even our hot water comes from a solar thermal installation on our roof.

Our staff are encouraged to implement these same practices at home.  Some have purchased their homes based on energy efficiency and alternative energy use.  Solar electric, solar thermal and geothermal are used by our team.  We truly lead by example.

This is our way to deal with the situation.  We are continually learning, constantly looking for new solutions and diligently acting on our beliefs.  It isn't the only way, but it's the best we know.
