    02/22/2012 The rebate can be paired with 4 bonuses: Minnesota Made, NABCEP, Nonprofit, and Energy Efficiency bonuses. 01/11/2012 Rebate maximum increased to $20,000. Expiration date is 12/31/2012. 06/27/2011 The expiration date was extended to 12/31/2011. The Minnesota Power rebate was originally based on the state rebate program; however, the state program is no longer available. Applicants should still use the state program application to apply to the Minnesota program. 07/25/10 Revised to indicate that program is available to all MN retail customers (residential, commercial, and industrial). Utility will review MN state PV rebate applications if applicant does not qualify for state program (small business only) or if the state program is out of funding. Also updated contact information.

    02/17/12 Incentive has been reduced from $1.75/W to $1.50 per watt effective at 5PM on February 17, 2012. The maximum installer pipeline has been increased from 225 kW at any one time to 300 kW. Other minor changes were made addressing additions to existing systems. 08/12/11 Requirement for NABCEP certification has now taken effect (June 30, 2011). This change was specified in advance in program documents. PON 2112 itself remains unchanged from version issued in August 2010. 08/17/10 Slight revision to indicate that CEC listing not necessarily required for equipment. Program manual references CEC because PowerClerk pulls from CEC equipment list. 08/16/10 New PON 2112 issued. Incentives for all systems now set at $1.75/W up to 7 kW for R, 50 kW for NR, and 25 kW for NP/Gov't. Bonus incentives for Energy Star Homes and BIPV appear to have be removed. Max. incentive also revised from 50% of cost to 40% of cost after all tax credits. Installers required to inform home/building owners

    2/17/12 CSP Solar PV Rebate Tiers have changed from 3 levels to 4. rebate amounts have decreased from $1.65-3.00/W to $1.30-$2.00/W. Max incentive changed from flat $200,000 to $25,000 per residential, $100,000 for commercial and schools, and $25,00 for commercial installations not using local contractors. 12/30/11 Annual review, no changes for 2012 announced yet. In 2011, the new program was announced in February, so expect the same for this program.

  • NORTH CAROLINA: North Carolina - Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program

    2/16/12 The North Carolina Energy Office is using remaining ARRA funds to open a third phase of applications for rebates on qualified Energy Star appliances purchased on or after January 1, 2012. 2/14/11 Program has ended. 11/29/10 Energy Efficient Appliance rebate funds reinstated until remaining $650,000 is allocated. 6/4/10 Funds have run out.

  • NEW JERSEY: WARMAdvantage Program
    State: New Jersey

    02/15/12 Solar water heaters that supplement an existing gas water heater are now eligible. An additional category has also been added for hydronic boilers ($300 rebate). 01/20/12 Efficiency requirement for gas and oil boilers has been lowered from 85% AFUE to 82% AFUE beginning January 1, 2012. Numerous other changes will take effect February 15, 2012 as described in the 2012 HVAC program update. A total of $21.6M in new funding is available for 2012, plus roughly $600k in uncommitted carryover funds from 2011. 11/01/11 Program re-opened for oil and propane customers with incentives re-aligned to match those for IOUs. Heat pump water heaters are no longer eligible for incentives and solar water heaters now must supplement an existing electric water heater to qualify. Formerly, solar water heaters had to supplement gas in order to qualify, but these are no longer eligible. 02/15/11 Lower incentive ($25) for gas storage water heaters with an EF of 0.62 or greater has been removed

  • FLORIDA: Progress Energy Florida - SunSense Solar Water Heating with EnergyWise
    State: Florida
    Incentive Type: Utility Rebate Program
    02/15/12 No changes. 03/18/2011 Solar Water Heating program is now part of the Progress Energy SunSense program. Rebate amounts for systems installed on or after March 15, 2011 have increased to $550.

  • MASSACHUSETTS: MassCEC - Commonwealth Solar Hot Water (Pilot)

    02/15/12 Boston still offering a pilot solar rebate, maximum amount $2,833, to residents of the city who install 5 kW systems or smaller. In addition, now offers solar hot water rebates up to $3500. These Boston rebates are adders to the state MassCEC solar rebates.

  • FLORIDA: JEA - Solar Incentive Program
