The Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE)  is a comprehensive source of information on state, local, utility, and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. Established in 1995, DSIRE is an ongoing project of the NC Solar Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Oh, do we all wish this was an easy question!  The answer is, "It depends." And it depends on a lot of things. Where do you live? How much sun falls where the solar modules will be? Are there trees or other buildings shading your installation any time during the day? What angle will your installation be on? Add to this the fact that solar modules are rated for output under a system that treats nearly every manufacturer fairly ... and is wrong for every one of them equally. The STC or Standard Test Conditions rating that is applied to solar modules is based on conditions that almost never occur anywhere. Perhaps a few deserts but certainly not your rooftop. Then if you live in someplace like the US where AC power is in use, there are the losses that come from converting the DC power made by the solar modules into the AC you need. With the answers to these questions, we can get a very accurate estimate on the amount of electricity your installtion will be able to produce. Talk to our sales staff for more info.
