Incentive Type: Utility Rebate Program
5/13/11 Funding for commercial and industrial incentives has been fully exhausted through July 2012 at the earliest.
5/20/10 Rebate levels reduced from $4/W to $3/W for customers who transfer REC ownership to utility, and from $2.80/W to $2.42/W for customers who retain REC ownership.

10/25/2010 Utility Solar Thermal Water Heater Rebate Program available to residential, commercial and industry MN Power customers. Maximum 25% matching rebate. Expires 12/31/2010.

02/22/2012 The rebate can be paired with 4 bonuses: Minnesota Made, NABCEP, Nonprofit, and Energy Efficiency bonuses.
01/11/2012 Rebate maximum increased to $20,000. Expiration date is 12/31/2012.
06/27/2011 The expiration date was extended to 12/31/2011. The Minnesota Power rebate was originally based on the state rebate program; however, the state program is no longer available. Applicants should still use the state program application to apply to the Minnesota program.
07/25/10 Revised to indicate that program is available to all MN retail customers (residential, commercial, and industrial). Utility will review MN state PV rebate applications if applicant does not qualify for state program (small business only) or if the state program is out of funding. Also updated contact information.
